Our Process

Westmoor prides itself on a straightforward highly efficient service with documentation written in plain English and information provided on a need to know and ongoing basis. Home visits and continuity of service can assist in help with advice on changes to your Will, significant personal changes, residential care costs, funeral plans, Inheritance Tax planning and..... all those things that you forgot to ask when our consultant was with you.

Inheritance Tax Planning

Wills are highly effective in planning to reduce Inheritance Tax (IHT) thus ensuring that more of your assets go to the people who you want them to go to. Westmoor Wills can offer extensive advice and support in this matter as well as keeping you up to date on any changes in legislation.

Storing Your Will

Once you have made your Will, it is important to know it is stored in a safe place. Obviously you and your chosen Executors will have copies but as part of our Extended Service, Westmoor Wills can also retain a copy. This will allow you to amend/change details as circumstances may change in the future. We send your Executors a handy information sheet. We also check and ensure any changes are signed and witnessed correctly.

Executor Support

We realise that your chosen Executors are unlikely to be familiar with all the legal processes of winding up an estate or their duties. Westmoor Wills send out a useful information sheet to Executors at the outset and we are there to provide support or provide further information personally on an ongoing basis.

Home Visits

At Westmoor Wills, our highly personalised service ensures that you are taken through every step of making a Will concisely yet thoroughly. We believe face to face visits, continuity of service and availability of our consultants rate much better than DIY Wills or ones taken over the telephone and internet. With Westmoor, questions can be answered immediately and advice to your specific circumstances given.
